On Route

This was the view from our plane window on our first flight from Vancouver to Huston 





We managed to arrive in Huston a whole half hour early, which gave us ample time to sit down for lunch and explore a little before boarding for our flight to Lima. The flight to Lima boarded on time! however just as we were about to push away from the gate, they announced they were having electrical issues and that we would be delayed on the tarmack for about 15-20 minutes. 40 minutes later they asked us to leave the airplane (but leave our belonging on board). We finally ended up leaving an hour and a half late.
On the plus side: the entertainment and free alcohol on the plane to Lima were awesome!
We ended up getting to our hotel at about 1am after getting through customs (that's a long day of travel seeing as most of us woke up at 3:30 am)
